Enjoy these great recipes using one or more of Alaga Brand Syrups and Hot Sauce.  These recipes were submitted by some of our loyal consumers.

Alaga Sausage Balls

Alaga Sausage Balls

4 c. baking mix

1 lb. sausage

4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

1 T. Alaga Hot Sauce

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the baking mix, sausage, cheese and Alaga Hot Sauce in a  large bowl and mix well.  Shape into small balls.  Place 1 inch apart on a non-stick baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese bubbles and the sausage is browned and cooked through.  Drain well before serving.  Yield: 12 to 15 servings.

Chicken Wings

Alaga Hot Sauce

Salt

Pepper

Flour

 

Dip wings in Alaga Hot Sauce. Be sure they are completely covered then coat with flour.  Salt and Pepper generously.  Fry in hot oil until browned.

 

Dipping Sauce:  

1/3 cup Alaga Hot Sauce

2/3 cup Yellow Label.

 

Mix together or add Russian Dressing for a Tropical Taste.

Alaga Salmon Party Ball

2 c. flaked, cooked salmon

1 (8-oz.) pkg. softened, cream cheese

1 T. lemon juice

1 T. horseradish

1 T. Alaga Hot Sauce

2 T. grated onion

1/4 T. liquid smoke

1/4 tsp. salt

3 T. chopped parsley

1/2 c. chopped pecans

 

Mix all of the ingredients except for the pecans and parsley, and roll into a ball.  Mix the pecans and parsley together and roll the ball-shaped salmon mixture so that the pecans and parsley coat the outside of the ball.  Chill and serve as a sperad with crackers.
