Cut 3 apples in half and slice the 3 remaining apples.
Continue flour and sugar.
Cut in the butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle half the mixture in the bottom of the pie crust and top with the apple slices.
Arrange the apple halves cut sides down on top.
In a bowl, combine the ALAGA Butter Maple Syrup, whipping cream, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice.
Pour mixture over the apple halves and sprinkle evenly with the remaining crumb mixture,.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake for 35 minutes, shielding with aluminum foil after 15 minutes to prevent excessive browning, if necessary.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Serve with ice cream and extra ALAGA Butter Maple Syrup.
