ALAGA Pumpkin Pie

Equipment

  • Deep Pie Plate
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 unbaked pastry for 9-inch pie
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 c. ALAGA Cane Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 T. butter or margarine
  • 2 T. cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Line a deep pie plate with pastry.
  • Combine ingredients above in order given and pour into pastry (unbaked).
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until custard is firm in the center.
