Balsamic Onion Marmalade
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 2 red onions (sliced thin)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 T. ALAGA Cane Syrup
- 1 c. balsamic vinegar
- Break apart onions and saute' over medium heat in oil until soft and transparent.
- Add the ALAGA Cane Syrup and cook an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the vinegar and cook until reduced to a thick marmalade consistency.
- Spoon over mashed potatoe, pork or beef.
